Drypoint, 1925, See H. Redeker 7 3/4 x 9 7/8 in. Signed in pencil. A superb impression with full margins. Fine condition. Wiegers' expressionist style is an important movement for Holland in the 1920s-1930s. His friendship with Kirchner developed after 1920 when he moved to Davos, Switzerland and lived right near the clebrated German artist. They became close friends. Wiegers is the key figure in the founding of the Dutch expressionist movement called "De Ploeg."      SOLD
