Etching, drypoint, aquatint, roulette, 1886-1890, Bourcard-Goodfriend 165. 11 3/4 x 15 3/4 in. The central image (state v/vi) is printed from one plate and the margins (state iii/III) from another. A superb, rich impression with wide margins. Printed in two colors, this important 19th century landscape print exemplifies Buhot as a creative master of his craft. In very good condition other than a small tear in the right margin well apart from the plate mark. With the artist's large red owl stamp, lower left.      SOLD
