Etching, aquatint and drypoint, 1878, Bourcard-Goodfriend 129, (vi/VI), edition unknown. 9 1/2 x 13 1/8 in. Signed in pencil by the artist and with the following notations in his hand, "epreuve d'artiste" and "Etat non termine." There is also a pencil dedication. This is a very fine impression with substantial margins. The condition is very good other than a slight darkening in the outer margins from a previous mat. A major work.      SOLD
