Drypoint, 1912-13, Zandvoort Catalogue 15 (v/V); edition unknown. 14 3/4 x 12 1/4 in. Signed, dated and inscribed "5st." This is a superb impression of this large, rare print. The margins are full and the condition is fine. Schelhout's work is illustrated and discussed in Ackley's 2014 book, Holland on Paper in the Age of Art Nouveau, see pages 212-213. He was one of very few Dutch cubist artists. Regarding the subject of this print, Les Angles is a commune in southern France.      SOLD
