Etching, drypoint and roulette, circa 1879, Bourcard-Goodfriend 145 (iii/VII), edition unknown. 5 7/8 x 8 7/8 in. Signed in the plate twice in the lower left. Signed in pencil below the image. Here we have a superb, luminous impression printed on cream laid paper. The margins are wide and probably full. The condition is excellent. This print relates to a painting by Constable as well as a David Lucas mezzotint of the same subject.      SOLD
