Blooming Tree (Bluhender Baum) Woodcut, 1925, edition unknown. 31 1/4 x 17 1/4 in. Signed and titled in pencil; inscribed "handdruck." This is a fine impression printed on a fibrous Japanese paper. The margins are full and the condition is fine. This is the artist's largest and best known print. Her editions were probably about 40-50 impressions. Reinberger and her family were friends with Josef Hoffmann, the important Austrian architect and designer. She specialized in blockprints and many of her works are in the Albertina, including this image. Other prints are currently available. Provenance: Private collection, Berlin. SOLD |

Four Figures, Facing Left Woodcut, circa 1920, edition unknown. 15 3/4 x 7 3/4 in. Signed in pencil and inscribed "handdruck". A superb impression in fine condition. Full margins. Reinberger's extraordinary woodcuts grew from her family's friendship with Josef Hoffmann. Beautiful design, vision and craftsmanship come together in these Successionist era images. Four Figures; One Kneeling Woodcut, 1920, edition unknown. 10 1/4 x 9 1/4 in. Signed and dated in pencil. This is a very good impression with full margins. The condition is excellent. She studied at the School of Applied Arts in Vienna and made her first woodcut in 1916. She rarely dated her prints as we have here. There's a large group of her prints in the Albertina. $1,500 |

Wide if not full margins. Little is know about her lift as an artist. Her designs and symbolic imagery is quite unique and her prints are rare. SOLD |
