Lithograph printed in colors, circa 1936-38, edition 25. 10 1/8 x 12 7/8 in. Signed, titled and numbered in pencil. This is a fine impression of this rare work. The condition is fine and the margins are full. (There are a few minor handling marks in the margins, i.e. fingerprints and soft wrinkles.) Lau was born in Wisconsin and studied at the Minneapolis School of Art. She participated in the Minnesota WPA Art Project and this print bears that stamp. Impressions are located in the Minneapolis Institute of Art, the National Gallery of Art and the Amon Carter Museum of American Art.
