The Hunter
Wood engraving, circa 1940, edition unknown; this impression inscribed #2. 6 x 8 in. Initialed in the block and signed and titled in pencil. This is a fine impression printed on thin off-white Japanese paper. The margins are full and the condition is very good overall, other than some wrinkling in the margins. Bennett lived and worked in the Seattle area and is best known for his woodblock prints. He studied with Ambrose Patterson.
