Blockprint, circa 1930-40, small edition. 9 x 9 in. Signed and titled in pencil. A fine impression printed on a thin, fibrous Japanese paper. Full margins. Fine condition. This print was done as a textile design as stated on an old exhibition label, verso. He lived in the Chicago area and was a rather good modernist painter. This is a nice example of American design of the era.      SOLD
