White line color woodcut, undated (1920s), edition unknown. 8 x 7 in. Initialed in the block, lower right. Signed and titled in pencil. This is a superb impression printed with vibrant colors on a very thin, fibrous oriental paper. The margins are full. There are remnants of old hinges at the edges and foxing showing in the margins only. Hebert was a west coast artist and studied with Frank Morley Fletcher and Edward Borein at what is now the University of California, Santa Barbara. She exhibited widely during the 1930s largely in west coast shows. From the collection of Reba White Williams, NY.      $1,300
