Lithograph, 1925, Adam, Eliëns, van den Noort-van Gelder L29, edition unknown. 30 1/4 x 21 1/2 in. Signed in the image, lower left, with the artist's printed monogram. Dated "25" in the lower right corner of the image. This large and amazing print was done when the artist was only eighteen years old. There were a few pencil signed proofs but most impressions are unsigned. This work was published by VAEVO in 1928. (de Vereeniiging tot Bevordering van het Aesthetisch Element in het Voortgezet Onderwijs, voor schoolversiering.) In other words, The Society for Promotion of the Aesthetic Element in Secondary Education. A number of talented artists from the period were involved with this project in bringing fine art to schools.      SOLD
