Aquatint printed in colors, 1909, edition unknown but certainly small. 9 3/4 x 12 3/8 in. Signed and dated in pencil. A fine impression with wide margins. Very good condition. This poetic, early aquatint by Preissig depicts his native Prague in winter. After teaching at Columbia with Dow, Preissig went to Boston to teach at the Wentworth Institute. He died at Dachau in 1944 in a concentration camp.      SOLD
