Woodcut, circa 1920, edition unknown. 3 3/8 x 1 1/2 in. Initialed in the block, lower right. Signed in ink. This is a fine impression printed on thin Japanese paper. The condition is fine. The margins are substantial but unevenly trimmed. Koning's woodcuts are generally done on a small scale, as we have here. He was also a painter and screenprint artist. Koning was married to the artist, Lou Loeber.      $400
