Engraving, 1943, Kersten 111, edition unknown. 8 5/8 x 11 in. Initialed and dated in the plate. Signed in pencil. This is a superb impression with full margins. The condition is excellent. Brinks lived in Amsterdam and studied at the Rijksakademie. He was a gifted engraver and won the 1933 Prix de Rome in this medium. In this superb print the artist cleverly merges the figure into a far reaching hilly landscape.       SOLD
