Etching, 1896, Cortissoz/Clayton 89, edition unknown. 4 1/4 x 5 3/4 in. Signed and dated in the plate, lower right. Signed in pencil and inscribed "proof selected for Mrs. Lowinson by Childe Hassam." This is a fine impression printed with tone. The margins are full and the condition is excellent. (There are tack holes along the edges from when the sheet was tacked to the wall after printing.) The stamp of Frieda Lowinson, the New York collector, is in the lower right corner. (Not in Lugt). Provenance: M.Knoedler & Co, New York.      SOLD
