Etching, 1940, Fletcher 346 (iii/III); edition 395. 7 1/2 x 13 1/2 in. Signed and dated in pencil. Inscribed "III" for the third state. This is a superb, luminous impression printed on a light cream laid paper. The margins are full and the condition is fine other than for a modest little smudge in the lower left margin area. This print won multiple prizes from 1941-48.       $1,500
