White-line color woodcut, circa 1930, small edition. 6 5/8 x 5 5/8 in. Signed in pencil. A fine impression with wide margins. Slight staining on the verso just slightly affecting the sky to the left of the tower. Maxim studied with Blanche Lazzell in Provincetown, Massachusetts and this particular print was based on travels in France in 1930.      SOLD
