Woodcut printed in colors, 1930, Chapman 19, projected edition of 150. 9 5/8 x 14 1/16 in. Signed, titled and numbered (LXII) in pencil. Here we have a fine impression with full margins. The condition is very good apart from small old hinges at the four corners, verso, and a tiny wrinkle in the lower right corner of the sheet. The catalogue states that only sixty-four impressions are recorded hence this is not a common print. The Vlvata is the longest river within the Czech Republic. In the background at right is Prague Castle. Construction started in 870 and was completed in 1929!      SOLD
