Etching, 1880, Wentworth 52, edition about 100. 9 x 4 3/8 in. Signed and dated in the plate. Signed in pencil in the lower right corner of the margin and also inscribed to the printer, Frederick Goulding ("a M. Goulding, J. Tissot"). This is a superb impression printed on fine laid paper. The margins are full and the condition is fine. (There's just a tiny repaired split in the upper left corner of the sheet.) Tissot worked closely with Goulding as soon as he became serious about his printmaking career.      SOLD
