Etching, drypoint and aquatint, 1879, Bourcard/Goodfriend 128 (ix/IX); edition unknown. 9 3/8 x 13 3/4 in. Signed in pencil and also signed in the lower right with the artist's red owl stamp. This is a superb impression printed on china paper. The margins are full and the condition is excellent. This fine work is common but it is rarely if ever signed in pencil. It was published in L'Art in a large edition so the best and most interesting impressions can be often overlooked.      SOLD
