Etching and aquatint, 1881, Singer 52 (ii/II), edition unknown. 16 1/2 x 11 1/4 in. Signed in the plate. This is a fine impression on chine applique. The margins are full and the condition is quite good apart from minor stains in the right margin. This is plate 1 of 12 from Opus IV; Intermezzi. This print is a superb example of his work and a technical tour de force of intaglio printmaking.      SOLD
