Lithograph printed from three stones, 1901, Delteil 43 (ii/II), edition 115. 16 7/8 x 13 3/8 in. Signed on the stone and signed and numbered in pencil, lower left. This is a fine, luminous impression printed on chine appliqué. The margins are full. The condition is fine apart from slight ripping in the outer margins. This impression is numbered from the edition of 10 which in the catalogue says an edition of 10 was printed on "japon." According to Delteil, there were also 5 impressions on "chine volant," and "sur hollande;" 50 impressions in black and 50 in bistre or sanguine. An impression of this stellar symbolist print is in the Deering collection at the Art Institute of Chicago.      SOLD
