Lithograph, 1942, edition 20. 17 x 12 1/4 in. Signed on the stone and signed and titled in pencil. This is a fine impression in excellent condition. The margins are full. Volz was born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland, and immigrated to the U.S. in 1933. He settled in the San Francisco Bay area where he was he was active in the Northern California Art Project. He became something of a solitary figure and his printed social commentary always involved the power of geometric abstraction. His editions are small.      SOLD
