Lithograph, 1949, edition unknown. 11 1/2 x 15 1/8 in. Signed and dated on the stone. Signed and titled in pencil. This is a superb impression of the large work. The margins are full. The condition is very good other than for slight wrinkling in the outer margins here and there. Exquisitely rendered, this lovely print reflects Wittenberg's great skills as a draughtsman. Birds and animals were typical subjects and he was equally well-versed in the woodcut medium.       $900
