Daffodils (two states)
Etchings, 1918, edition unknown. 5 7/8 x 7 7/8 in. Both are signed and dated in the plate, lower right. Both are signed in pencil and the heavily inked one is also dated. These are fine impressions in generally fine condition. The margins are wide. Oosting studied at the School of Applied Arts in Haarlem, the Academy of Art in the Hague and the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris. She won a bronze medal at the Paris World Exhibition in 1937. Oosting was a versatile and independent artist who was involved with the Société des Femmes Artistes Modernes established in Paris in 1931. (The RKD (Netherlands Institute for Art History) in the Hague has extensive papers and archival material about the artist.)

Still Life
Woodcut printed in colors, undated (probably done during the 1940s-1950s), edition 100. 15 3/4 x 8 3/8 in. Initialed in the block, lower right. Signed and numbered in pencil. This is a superb impression printed on japan paper. The margins are full and the condition is excellent. Oosting excelled in printmaking, painting, book design and glass work. She was a member of the Pulchri Studio, Arti et Amicitiae and the Association for Craft and Art industry (VANK).
