Woodcut printed in colors, 1940, edition 25. 5 x 6 in. Signed, titled and numbered in pencil. This is a fine impression with rich colors. The paper is Japanese and there's a paper imperfection or small repair on the right side, outside of the image. Rackley was born in New Mexico and studied at the University of Texas and also in Germany. Her married name was Simon and she eventually settled in California. She moved to New York in 1935 and became active in the WPA program.      SOLD
