Lithograph printed in five colors, 1899, Bouvet 59, edition 100. 12 1/2 x 18 in. Signed in pencil, lower right. This is a superb impression with full margins. The condition is excellent apart from old hinges at the top two corners of the sheet. This work was printed by Bonnard and Auguste Clot, Paris. This major work is from the important series "Quelques Aspects de la Vie de Paris". The provenance is the celebrated collection of Henri M. Petiet (see Lugt 2021a).

Lithograph printed in colors, 1899, Bouvet 59, edition 100. 12 x 18 in. Unsigned. This is a fine impression with very good colors. The margins are full with a deckle edge on all sides. Excellent condition. This is a lovely work from the series Quelques Aspects de la Vie de Paris; a set of twelve plates plus the cover. Bonnard was the printer under the direction of Clot, according to Bouvet. The set was published by Vollard. This and other works from the series were pencil signed on occasion.

Lithograph printed in four colors, 1899, Bouvet 64, edition 100. 11 x 14 1/4 in. Unsigned. This is a superb impression with fresh colors. The margins are full and the condition is excellent. This impression, printed on chine volant, is from the collection of Henri M. Petiet (see Lugt 2021a). This iconic image is from Bonnards's series "Quelques Aspects de la Vie de Paris," as printed by Bonnard and Clot. Incidentally, Bonnard rarely signed the prints from this series.

Lithograph, 1893, Bouvet 25, edition 100. 14 1/2 x 10 1/2 in. Signed and numbered in pencil. This is a fine impression in excellent condition. The margins are full. There were an additional twenty impressions on Japanese paper. This stellar work was reproduced in "L'Escarmouche," No. 5, December 10, 1893. "Bonnard's picture of stray dogs disporting themselves is one of his most skillful creations of high caricature, and it brings to mind not only the dazzling energy of Daumier but also Manet's best work in black and white..." (See page 121 of Pierre Bonnard, The Graphic Art, by Colta Ives, et al. (1989). The influence of Japanese printmaking is certainly evident here with the flat composition.

Lithograph printed in five colors, 1922, Roger-Marx 77, Bouvet 88; edition 100. 18 1/2 x 25 in. Signed on the stone in the upper left. This is a superb impression with fresh, vibrant colors. The margins are full and the condition is fine. (There's a skillful repaired tear in the right margin well away from the image.) This superb, large scale lithograph was published by Bernheim-Jeune and is numbered in the lower margin. (This print was not signed in pencil by Bonnard.) Two pastel sketches are known; one was exhibited by Huguette Berès in 1970 and one is in the collection of the Bibliothèque Nationale, Paris. Ex-Collection: Henri M. Petiet, with his stamp verso, lower left corner.

Published by Ambrose Vollard, this work is from the celebrated series of twelve plates, "Quelques Aspects de la Vie de Paris." The set was printed by the artist under the direction of Auguste Clot. Provenance: Henri M. Petiet (Lugt 5031).

The margins are wide (full?) and the condition is excellent. This charming work was printed in an edition of 100 for the 1927 de luxe edition of "Art d'aujourd'hui," published by Albert Morancé, Paris.

This print also goes by the title, "Dans l'intimité," ('In Private') and is illustrated and discussed on pages 152-153 of Pierre Bonnard, The Graphic Art (1989) by Colta Ives, et al.

This is a fine impression with wide margins. The condition is fine apart from faint traces of an old adhesive near the center of the very top of the sheet and minor rippling along the bottom edge, all well away from the image. This vibrant Nabis style print was reproduced in "L'Escarmouche," No.2, January 14, 1894. (There were twenty additional impressions on Japanese paper.) This print also goes by the title, "Dans l'intimité," ('In Private') and is illustrated and discussed on pages 152-153 of Pierre Bonnard, The Graphic Art (1989) by Colta Ives.
