Lithograph, 1899, Mellerio 176, edition 100. 12 3/8 x 8 7/8 in. Signed on the stone, lower right, with the artist's monogram. Here we have a superb, rich impression. The paper is a chine appliqué and the margins are full. The condition is very good apart from a soft ripple in the sheet, a spot of foxing in the upper left corner just outside the image, and the extreme right edge of the sheet is toned. This is plate III from the series, Apocalypse de Saint-Jean. The printed titled is just below the image in the lower left.

The margins are full. The condition is quite good apart from occasional subtle foxing in the margins and a small stain in the lower margin edge. This endearing work is plate XII from The Apocalypse de Saint-Jean (The Revelation of St. John the Divine). The set of twelve prints with frontispiece was published by Ambrose Vollard, Paris, and printed by Blanchard.

The condition is excellent. This endearing work is plate XII from The Apocalypse de Saint-Jean (The Revelation of St. John the Divine). The set of twelve prints with frontispiece was published by Ambrose Vollard, Paris, and printed by Blanchard. From the collection of Henri M. Petiet (Lugt 5031).

Lithograph, 1895, Mellerio/Hyman 133, edition 50. 11 1/4 x 9 1/2 in. Signed on the stone, lower right. Signed in pencil. This is a fine impression printed on chine appliqué. The margins are wide. The condition is good apart from some toning on the verso and imperfections showing on the chine, primarily on the extreme edges of the sheet which is a light gray. This is a proof without the tiny, printed title and edition "50 ep." just below the image at center. The catalogue mentions that a few of these were printed in black and green ink. One such example is found at the Kröller-Muller Museum in the Netherlands.

Lithograph, 1888, Mellerio/Hyman 92, edition 58 (60 announced). 8 x 6 1/4 in. Unsigned as usual. This is a superb impression printed on chine appliqué. The margins are full. The condition is very good apart from occasional subtle stains in the margins and a small repair in the lower edge of the sheet. This memorable image is plate IX from Redon's first series of La Tentation de Saint-Antoine. The title is printed with Gustave Flaubert's text below the image at left. This set was published by Edmond Deman, Brussels, and printed in Paris by Becquet. This is the rarest of the three series of the Temptation by Redon and the set consists of only ten prints, including the cover.

Lithograph, 1896, Mellerio/Hyman 158; edition 100 with letters. 11 3/4 x 9 1/4 in. Initialed in pencil lower left, just below the image. This is a fine, luminous impression with full margins. The condition is very good. This celebrated work was published by Vollard in "l'Album des Peintres-Graveurs." This is one of a few pencil signed proofs before publication.

Lithograph, 1896, Mellerio / Hyman 158, edition 100. 11 3/4 x 9 3/8 in. Initialed in pencil, lower left and numbered "3" from the edition of 100. This is a fine, subtle impression with all the details printing clearly. Printed on chine appliqué, this impression has very wide margins. The condition is very good apart from a suggestion of foxing in a couple of spots in the margins and the top edge of the sheet is slight abraded from an early mount. This stellar work appeared in a set of twenty-two prints published by Vollard called "l'Album des Peintre-Graveurs."

Lithograph, 1894, Mellerio/Hyman 127, edition unknown. 6 1/4 x 4 11/16 in. Signed in pencil, lower right. This is a fine impression before letters printed on chine appliqué. The margins are wide. The condition is fine other than for slight foxing in the top margin and a small repaired tear at top. This charming print was published in La Revue Blanche and this is one of the early proofs printed on chine by Becquet, Paris.
