Etching and aquatint, probably 1930s, edition 100. 11 7/8 x 15 in. Signed, titled and numbered in pencil. This is a superb impression with full margins. The condition is fine other than for an extremely faint suggestion of toning within an old mat opening. Born in Canada, Heaslip was interested in art and aviation at an early age. He joined the Royal Flying Corps and served in WWI. He later moved to New Yok and studied printmaking and painting at the Art Students League. Heaslip was also an illustrator.
